Italian Cat

From what I hear about Italy, I'm surprised Mama got away with taking his picture.  He doesn't exactly look thrilled.  I'm learning about countries now - I might not go to Italy unless I get way bigger than this guy!

Friends

I have this picture hanging on my wall - it makes me feel cozy.

My friends Katie and Maya waiting for the sun to shine.

I don't know what this cat is being fed, but I don't believe it's ice cream or else Zombie wouldn't look so bored.  Maybe it's not her favorite flavor.  Hey! she can stand up like a people.  Wow, I wanna do that too.  Some things are just too high up for me to grab.

Grabbing reminds me of today. Lucas and I were boxing, or maybe it was me wrestling with him, but either way, we knocked over Mama's lamp.  She didn't get mad at us, but was mad at herself for putting it where I like to play & Lucas likes to sleep.

Now there's a bigger & heavier lamp there.  

I wonder what a lamp is for.  They make my eyes turn into slits, but Lucas likes them.  He thinks it's an indoor sun.  I know the real sun shines through windows and lands on the floor in the kitchen.  Lucas lives in la la land, but I won't tell him.  When he gets mad he pounds my head until I fall flat on my back.

This is a painting that my Mama really likes.  I'm just learning about art, so I'd like your opinion on what you think about this painting, why you do or don't like it, how it makes you feel, & where on this earth is this place, what time, what temperature?  

If I added something to this picture it would be a cat.  What would you add?  Maybe a lizard lying in the sun?
