Ourselves in February 2011
Here we are 2 months later than the last photos. I don't think we look much different, but Coco is getting bigger or I am shrinking. If I took off my coat (which I will never do in public) we are probably closer in size than we look. I look a bit grumpy, but I'm not really. I like the smell of lemons. Coco likes to play with them if they get loose. So without further delay, here is Coco Chanel and me.

Mr. Blue Eyes, you comedian! I can't believe you like to smell lemons. Are you sure you're 100% cat? You might be part lemonosaurus or something. Those lemons DO smell pretty nice though, I admit. They're not super sour, like those candies, Super Sours.
ReplyDeleteCoco sure is getting to be a bigger girl! You two are so cute when you play or when you snuggle. Even when you bite your mom.
You guys pose pretty well for photos, too. Jackson never stays still for a moment unless he's sound asleep. He hardly ever just chills out, he's always worried about something like whether he locked his car door or turned off the oven. He constantly has to go outside, then inside, then to the bathroom, then back outside... he's like a big blur of orange.
Either than or he's asleep on my lap. Either way, it's hard to get a proper photo of him. And when he sees the camera (when it worked), he walks away. I think he must confuse it with the brush or the nail clippers!
YOU were a really good boy when we clipped your nails the other day. I was proud of you. You're looking very regal and mature. Your mom can tell you what 'regal' means. Coco is a little cutie too, you picked a good girlfriend, Hans. She gets you to play a lot and that's good for you.
Q: What kind of car would Hans like to get?
A: A lemon!
Ok, I have to go now... oops, wait, my cow Dennis wants to say something.

Anyway, my friend Paul said you should try those lemons in some Corona, dunno what he meant by that. Ok, I'd better go. Is Coco African-American? She looks like a nice cat. I hope you guys don't try to chew on my udder off if I come ober to visit. Bye!"
Sorry, you just have to put up with Dennis sometimes. Well, have a nice night or day Hans, and tell Cokes I said hi and give her a good snuggling for me. I miss you guys a lot!

Justin, I would LoVe a Lemon car! You know me pretty well, so when do I get to have one? mmmm, a lemon car......I will take a cat nap and dream of it.....mmmmm
ReplyDeleteOh and Coco's heritage is Asian. Yes I did pick the right little girlfriend. I look out for her while she's doing her dare devil stunts, well at least I watch her. I don't do much of that anymore, but last night we both chased a red dot around the room. My favorite thing besides smelling lemons is looking at the ceiling. I love Mama picking me up so I can see it better.

Hi Dennis, I know what Haagen Dazs is, so thanks for my name!! I saw a baggie of lemon parts in the fridge. I'll look for a Corona next time and see if I can put them together. You friend Paul has some good ideas. Lemon in anything would be good. Your friend Justin is nice! He always talks to me when he's over. I'll ask him to lift me as high as the ceiling next time. Coco thinks he's the cat's meow. huh? sometimes I don't understand her.

Billy, I'm not really a grump - well it seems like it, but it's just the way I am ..... just kinda cool, ya know. I smell lemons only. Not into eating them. We'll see you then, just make sure you pick us up and pet us......we like attention.
